Little Nemo in Slumberland by Winsor McCay

One of my favorite Little Nemo comics. The fish creature can’t live outside of water and, since there is no water on Mars, a monkey hypnotizes it to think it’s living in water.

i freaking love windsor mccay! I got this “lil’ sammy sneazer” collection of his stuff too. not as crazy color and concept wise as little nemo, but pretty awesome. i should show it to you.
