Finally made it out to Flushing for dim sum this morning. Tried the renowned Jade Asian. Above are my two favorite dishes, the first, scallion dumplings that I could not get enough of and the second a custard type scallop mix. More treats after the jump.
The place is huge and banquet hall-y and that is my finger in the way.
The steamed pork dumplings in the basket were among the best, also pictured: my favorite scallion dumplings and crispy taro something or others.
Wide, soft noodles with shrimp.
Crisy taro stuff with meat.
Pork and shrimp shumai.
Fried bacon wrapped shrimp – the only thing I didn’t care for.
No idea what these were, but everyone loved them – creamier shrimp(?) filling with dollop of sauce and roe.
